New Sanctuary!

Ok so, some of you might know about it, but for the sake of those who doesn’t, FGA USJ has been raising funds here and there for months to convert our ground floor to a new and bigger sanctuary, since we managed to buy over the lot next door.

Finally, during Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, it was officially opened for use!  Truly, with God’s blessings we are able to finish building the sanctuary without much hindrance.

It was jam packed with guests and church members! Praise God for the turnout! 😀 Jess and I, along with Brian and Brandon were actually forced to give up our seats to the guests, but I was actually excited to do so! So in the end, we were allocated seats beside the musicians right beside the stage, though it was abit isolated, but I had good view of the stage!

FGA USJ is an eating church. After the service which ends at 7pm, a rare service on Sunday which starts at 5pm, we had two Lok Lok trucks, char kuey teow corner, bubble tea, two huge roast pigs awaiting us outside the sanctuary.

I actually decided not to bring the D40 that night, because of the hassle during makan time, where I would have to watch over the camera while eating. At least, Tze Yu and Eunice were there to photograph the event. 🙂 So, the photos below are all taken by Tze Yu.

The church has decided to merge the two services on Sunday into one now – 9.00am service. Of course, in times to come, we hope the church would grow again to have two services again! Well, in the meantime, extra hour of sleeepppp! 😛
